Idea: Vanity of vanities, everything is vanity. I urge you to not hope in those things that are empty and deceive, but instead to find your hope only in Christ.

1. Everything is Vanity (Vs. 2)

2. Under the Sun(Vs. 3-4)
   a. Under the sun equals life without God.
   b. Vanity connected to the curse of the fall

3. The Natural World is Meaningless.(Vs. 5-7)

4. Man's Life is Meaningless.(Vs. 8)

5. History is Meaningless. (Vss. 9-11)
   a. There is nothing new under the sun.
   b. You won't be remembered.

Conclusion: I urge you to not hope in those things that are empty and deceptive, but instead to find your hope only in Christ.
