Jesus Cares for Widows

Ephesians 3:10 tells us that the wisdom of God is manifold. God is the perfect multi-tasker! There is no plan B with Him. He accomplishes multiple purposes in what He does. This is seen in the raising from the dead of the widow's only remaining son in Luke 7:11-17. As Jesus demonstrates His power over sickness (Luke 7:1-10), He also demonstrates His power over death in this passage thus showing that He indeed is the Promised One and that by faith anyone can enter the kingdom of God.
