The Greeting

Paul seems to have only had three, rather brief, visits with the Philippian church over a period of 12 years yet his love for them is clearly shown in this letter he wrote to them from a prison cell. Philippians has a unique opening, being different to all the other letters Paul wrote and this sermon looks at the significance of this as well as bringing out the importance of being a slave and desiring grace and peace for others.
