The Holy Scriptures

I. The Apostles Saw (2:16-18).

a. Peter was an eyewitness to the glory of Jesus.
b. Peter got a glimpse of what Jesus will look like when He comes back in glory.
c. Peter heard the voice of God speaking about His Son.

II. The Prophets Spoke (2:19-21).
d. The Word of God is better and more sure than human testimonies.
e. The Word of God shines like a lamp.
f. The Word of God is the WORD OF GOD, it didn't originate with humans.
