The first young man

The word firstfruits means quite literally the first fruit or production of the land. God's law did not prescribe a specific quantity for what the firstfruits should consist of, only that the first of the fruits of the land were to be brought. Now looking at Jesus, we see the first Son of God according to the law of adoption. We see Jesus didn't just come and do the bare minimum but instead He went the distance and gave all to buy our salvation. Let's look and see what that yielded.
