Paul Before Festus

Felix gets replaced by Festus as governor of Judea. Festus, who knows little of Jewish matters, offers Paul the "opportunity" to be tried by the Sanhedrin. Paul, knowing that this would mean certain death for him, appeals to Caesar which was his right as a Roman citizen. Festus, then, calls upon Herod Agrippa II for advice. Herod and his incestuous wife, Bernice, show up with all pomp and circumstance.
