Living Beings Surrounding God's Throne

Three groups of living beings were present surrounding God's throne in the revelation given to John. They are described as twenty-four elders, seven spirits of God, and four living creatures.
Following the letters previously given to the seven churches, before this vision, it seems best to identify the twenty-four elders as representative of the church who are overcomers having been raptured into heaven. The seven spirits of God are descriptive of the manifest presence of the Holy Spirit considering previous Old Testament revelation. The four living creatures seem to be a category of angels who are leading worship in heaven.
This preview of heaven, the destiny of believers, gives stability, encouragement, courage, and purpose in this life to be a whole life, wholehearted investment for the Lord.
