It is an amazing wonder that God adopts sinners to become his children. This adoption has a trinitarian basis, in that it flows from God the Father. His son was sent to be the propitiation for the sins of the adopted, and trinitarian fruits flow from the Holy Spirit's application. To be an adopted child of God also has its blessings implications.
