The Assurance of His Presence

As Christians, we have a mighty God, who will not remove His presence from us. Although the promise was made originally to His disciples, we may believe that the words of our Lord Jesus Christ which come to us down through the ages, apply to us also: "Lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world". In times of testing and trial; in times of difficulty or distress, we may still believe the unfailing and unchanging promise of Christ, in that 'He will never leave us, or forsake us.' Such a reassuring promise is ours, not just for time only, but also for all eternity.
