The time to understand the Biblical Covenant of Marriage is before, not after the ceremony. It is unfortunate that in most cases far more concern is put into the festivities of the ceremony than the study of God's Word. In this message an overview of the Marriage Covenant Seminar is given. An emphasis on the fact that the Marriage Covenant is made with God and not man and what the “fine print” of the marriage covenant entails. Rev. Mahon points out that a covenant is binding irrespective of the signers willingness to research the contract. In the same way our covenant with God is binding irrespective of our research of this covenant so it behooves the married couple to understand clearly to what standard they are being held to by God.
