The power of God demonstrated in the Passover

1. The solemn judgment of the Egyptians

Omnipresence of God - at every home at the same time

Omniscience of God - knew who and where all the 1st born were

Omnipotence of God - unlimited power of life and death

2. The power of Salvation of God’s people

Pharaoh ordered them to leave
Egyptians wanted them gone
With God’s power they plundered the Egyptians

3. The Passover ceremony defined

The Passover was to be a yearly ceremony

Memorial element - meant to remind them of what God did for them

Instructional element - take no leaven

Evangelical element - tell it to your children - proclaim what God has done
