How do we deal with a sinning brother or sister in the church?

A. We need to follow the proper procedure, 15-17
#1: We are to confront a sinning brother or sister privately, 15

Instead of going to a sinning brother or sister directly:

  a. We can go to someone else to gossip about it
  b. We can go to someone else to handle it

#2: We are to confront a sinning brother or sister semi-privately, 16

#3: We are to confront a sinning brother or sister publicly, 17a

#4: We are to confront a sinning brother or sister punitively, 17b
