Careful and Prayerful Judgment

In this passage we see human nature - what it is and what Christian behavior should be. David was deceived with flattery. We see his lack of discernment and his making mistakes just as we often do. We see God's Sovereign Hand. We are exhorted to listen to both sides before making a judgment. We are encouraged to careful, prayerful thought controlled by the Holy Spirit. Do not triumph over other people's tragedies and transgressions.
