Series Church History & Biography
3,119
The third of a four part series in which Dr. Nick Needham considers the significance of the Life and Theology of John Calvin, and how this important figure in church history impacted upon a greater understanding of the Reformed Faith.
Amongst other things, this session considers Calvin as a reformer of worship, the religious life of Geneva in Calvin's time, the effect that Calvin had on ‘church planting' across Europe, and how the Geneva Academy became a training centre for the Reformed Faith, drawing students from many countries.
Listeners are also able to hear the beginnings of a Question & Answer session, which carries over into Session 4.
