From Victory Unto Victory

Proposition: What is the dumbest thing that you can do? Fight against God. It is far worse than hugging a porcupine. Yet how many seemingly intelligent and successful people continually wage war against the Almighty sovereign ruler of the universe. And yet God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, while we were His enemies, sent His beloved Son to take the punishment for our rebellion and to rescue us from our foolishness. Amazing grace, how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me!
