Compassionate Provision

Ruth did not yet know the extent of God's providence in her life at this point in the story, but she knew that she had been the recipient of God's grace. The kindness of Boaz led him to act in the behalf of Ruth snd in that way, Boaz is a picture of the Lord Jesus Christ whose compassion toward His sinful people led Him to act in definite ways in their behalf.
