The first recorded war

In Genesis there are many firsts that are recorded. While war may even predate the flood, this is the first time it is mentioned in the Bible. One thing I noticed was that we are told how few people Abram had on his side, and the number of kings he fought against, but how large was their combined army? You know why God doesn't spell that out? Because we see the main problems in our lives; drugs, alcohol, porn, gambling, and so on but we don't see all the forces of Hell that are backing them to defeat us. Abram stepped out on faith that he could win because no matter how few were with him he was on God's side. Those problems come up, go tell someone or several others what is going on and everybody start praying. There may be a lot of ground to cover before the victory comes but God will win and help you if you trust in Him.
