Fear God

I am praying that as this message is given, those listening will examine where their trust is centered. The Lord says “cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength whose heart departs from the Lord.” (Jeremiah 17:5) We have such a vivid illustration of this in today’s lesson. Because we too are living in a time when there is a falling away where we could be discouraged. But, praise the Lord, “His compassion fail not” and I will say “the Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I hope in Him!” (Lamentations 3:22b, 24) May God keep us faithful.
