Active Passivity

As I think about Mother’s Day, I don’t even know where to start. My heart aches as I think that in America we have forgotten much of what is truly important, especially about motherhood. So today I want to look at some of the only commentary we have on the chosen mother for Jesus Christ. We want to look at her, not to worship her as so many do, but to see what her faith looked like in action. I think that as we look at Mary, it will encourage each of us, men and women, to have a real faith. If there is one thing that we need in our world today, it is parents with real faith who are teaching their kids about the gospel both in words and actions.
