Love Among God's People
Series Hebrews
127
In the closing comments by the writer to the Hebrews attention is drawn to the importance in a life of obedience as concerns relationships with other believers. The relationship a believer has with God is to be reflected in relationships with other believers. The primary command is to love with the family kind of affection that then motivates the showing of hospitality and helping those in need, particularly in regard to material needs. In this context these needs have been heightened by the difficulties imposed because of being identified with Jesus Christ and therefore with other believers in Jesus Christ.
