Pastoral Characteristics

Picking up from where we left off last week, Pastor Simpson continued preaching from 1 Timothy 3:2-3 on characteristics that all men claiming to be Christians, but especially Pastor's and Deacons, should possess. Stern instruction regarding alcohol and drunkenness from passages of Scripture that should provide instruction to all that name the name of Christ. Additionally, Pastor spent the balance of our time providing instruction on fighting, brawling and being greedy of money. The Scriptures provide clear instruction for our behavior in and out of church; to which it would do us well to listen and obey.
