THE BLESSED ALTERNATIVE TO LUST, LOSS, AND DEATH
15 Drink water from your own cistern,
And running water from your own well.
16 Should your fountains be dispersed abroad,
Streams of water in the streets?
17 Let them be only your own,
And not for strangers with you.
18 Let your fountain be blessed,
And rejoice with the wife of your youth.
19 As a loving deer and a graceful doe,
Let her breasts satisfy you at all times;
And always be enraptured with her love.
Proverbs 5:15-22

Proverbs 5 challenges and instructs believers to not be deceived, to not yield and not give in to sexual temptation. The Seventh Commandment teaches us that all in chastity is accursed of God, and that we should loath it worth all our hearts. The Wisdom of Proverbs agrees with the strongest of terms.
In this morning's text ( vss 15-23) the encouragement changes from warning to encouragement and promise. Exclusivity and single hearted devotion is for a lifetime and the mutual happiness of husband and wife.
