From Shadow to Substance

Theme: Christ our Passover enables us to fulfill the substance of the abolished ceremony

1. By Christ’s work the church is the unleavened bread
   a. Paul is revealing the substance of those shadows

   b. We are to “keep out” what Christ has taken out

2. That old feast pointed to the entire Christian life
   a. The whole congregation is determined to live the whole Christian life

   b. And every member is determined unto purity of life
