Vanities Are Not Forever

Solomon gives a moving and thoughtful explanation of the times and the season of life under the sun. He tells us that we all share alike in the cycles of life and the experiences they bring us. He affirms that God is the providential author of these seasons and all these "vanities" i.e. activities of man under the sun are part of our life and living in this mortal plain we call earth, until our spirit goes back to God who gave it to us. Let us consider Solomon's words of wisdom for they are not just random thoughts of an idle king, but the words of a man anointed by God to give us truth for life.
