Lee Anne was a former member of this Alexander Campbell sect calling itself the "Church of Christ" which came into existence in the 1820s proclaiming water baptism for salvation. Campbell's "Church of Christ" helped spawn many American cults in the 1800s such as Mormonism, Jehovah's Witnesses, Christadelphians, Seventh-day Adventists, Christian Scientists, the Unity School of Christianity, etc.
