Crucifixion was unknow in the time of David.Do you wonder what was going on in the mind of Jesus as he was being crucified? Here in the words of David from Psalm 22 we are told His thoughts.
David is acting as prophet (Acts 2: 29). He describes Jesus' suffering and death in the first half and His resurrection and glory in the 2nd half, His victory over sin and death.
