Running the Race

One of the saddest things is to see those who profess Christ leave the church and show no interest in the things of the Lord. "Without holiness no one shall see the Lord." The believer must be in the Word and under the preaching of the Word on a regular basis. When the road gets tough, it is the Word that will encourage us to press on. While we are young, it is much easier to memorize the Word and this is truly a blessing to the believer as we face trials and have the Word in both our minds and our hearts.
