Doing what Jesus Says

Establish the need: Do you merely call Jesus Lord, Lord, but really don’t follow Him? (Is there application in your life?)

Purpose: To see three reasons why you should put Jesus’ words into practice so that if you are a believer you will live a life of radical obedience or if you are a false convert you come to salvation first.

Obeying God’s Word is a good foundation for life (v.47-48)
Not obeying God’s Word has devastating consequences (v.49)
The decision to obey or disobey God’s Word is unavoidable (v.47-48)
