KISS THE SON
TEXT: Psalm 2:10-12

SUMMARY: As Psalm 2 comes to a close, a psalm that has expressed the absolute decrees of God's infinite power and authority and judgment on sinners ends on a note of hope: that those who will come to make peace with God according to "the election of His grace" (Rom. 11:5), will first learn of their own predicament, then come to an understanding of God's character, and then discover God's perfect peace.

A. Their Sins have Offended Him.
B. Judgment is coming.

II. THEY WILL COME TO AN UNDERSTANDING OF GOD’S CHARACTER, v. 11.
A. A God to Fear.
B. A God to Enjoy.

III. THEY WILL DISCOVER GOD’S PERFECT PEACH, v. 12.
A. God’s Peace is Offered.
B. God’s Mercy is Extended.
