Blessings for (Christ's) Obedience

There are many blessing that can come from being obedient to the Word of God, and it is normal to expect that. However, it is not God's intention for us to live solely for those blessings. Our real hope and desire needs to be on the heavenly kingdom of Christ, and it is only through HIS obedience that we have these blessings in the first place.
