Perfect Standing

While it may seem that Paul is repeating himself, the truth is that after comparing Christ with the priests of Aaron, the tabernacle, the ritual service and sacrifices, and the law and covenant, Paul is now comparing the fact that all the OT service, as glorious as it was, could not give the worshiper full and perfect standing with God. Christ did that by one offering for all time.

Therefore, we are to confidently draw near to God and hold fast our confession because He is faithful that promised.
