Your Body Is The Holy Of Holies

Jesus is Eternal God who came in the flesh, lived in a human body, suffered and died bodily, rose bodily and ascended bodily and even now has a deathless human body. All that he did bodily was for the purpose of cleansing our human bodies for the indwelling of his Spirit. Contrary to what many preachers confidently assert, the Bible teaches that our bodies are as sacred and sanctified as our souls and spirits and are the Holy of Holies for the indwelling of the Trinity by the Holy Spirit of God, who could not live in our bodies if they were not made likewise holy or if we retain a sin nature after regeneration as so many carelessly teach; which we do not. All that Christ did and suffered bodily purged and cleansed the body by what Titus 3:5-6 terms "the washing of regeneration and renewal by the Holy Spirit" who indwells us forever {John 16:14} and fills our bodies with His power, His light and His love. Don't fall for the gnostic heresy that the body and the soul are separate issues. For this reason Christ who was always God put on a body to accomplish God's will. "A Body you have perepared for me" Hebrews 10:5.
"What! Don't you know that your body is the Holy of Holies for the indwelling of Christ and you are not your own? Therefore glorify God in your Body and in your spirit both of which are sacred and belong to God" For this purpose The Father punished Christ bodily to redeem our Body, Soul and Spirit. Since the Church is His Body...Can our sinless Head Christ have other than a sinless body? I can't imagine how "anyone" could teach that is so!
