Ambition can be a dangerous issue within Christianity. We all know someone whose "ambition for the Lord's work" blinded them to the needs of their spouse and children. But ambition is not necessarily wrong. We all need a holy ambition (not one that is inflexible or wrongly focused.) This is why Romans 15:14-33 is such an important passage of Scripture to study. It show us what a holy ambition looks like.
