The Gift of Work and Rest

Both work and rest are gifts from God and commanded by God, therefore do everything for His glory. We need to be careful to not to improvise when studying God's word. As it is said, the Bible says what it means and means what it says. Skills and talents all come from God and He gives skills and talents regardless of the gender. Most people are not good at what they are employed to do. Instead of doing what you think others want you to do, find out what is it that God has gifted you in and gives you pleasure? Then do that for His glory. God also demands that you take a day of rest. Once you start compromising a little, pretty soon you will begin to compromise a lot. God tells us to take time off and do what you do for the glory of God.
