Stay Focused: Living In Light of the Resurrection

Why has Jesus sat down? The symbolism is vital to us, so it is repeatedly mentioned in Scripture. Life is an endurance race, at times an agonizing marathon of faith. It is filled with hurdles and distractions that conspire to rob us of hope. So we must continually look to the finish line. By faith, we must constantly focus on Jesus, whose work of redeeming us from sin is completed, whose role as Judge of all people is certain, whose rule over all people will one day be uncontested. Jesus even now is preparing a personal heavenly home and rewards for those who live for Him. Are you focused on the finish line?
