The Christ, the Crowd, the Cross
Some two thousand years ago the most powerful person in the universe entered a foreign city, without an army and without the technology of security and comfort. The King of Kings and Lord of Lords entered Jerusalem that first Palm Sunday in simplicity and humility, riding on a young donkey. He came in peace, as a lamb to be sacrificed for the sins of His people. This was His mission. He came to die on a cruel cross. In that moment in the history of the world, the curtain of the temple was torn in two, and time would be split in two. King Jesus came on a colt but He will return on the clouds. He will not be riding upon a donkey but on a white horse. He will come not to be judged for the sins of His people, He will come to judge the living and the dead. Be ready!
