Jesus Rose So Will I

The first mouthful of food from the new crop is not the whole crop, it is merely the first taste of the whole year's provision. So Jesus is the forerunner of the vast victory Christians have in Him! Failure is the consistent pattern of human history, yet in Jesus we see for the first time, glorious success! And that success, God gives to His worn. This includes personal benefits of being seen as having succeeded in Jesus. Just as Jesus' body was actually raised from the dead, so too, will the bodies of His beloved be raised from the dead. They will ascend to glory when Christ returns for them. In Jesus, death itself is destroyed forever. And beyond description is the life and glory to which He has called His people. God will live with perfected people forever.
