The first in a series of messages on the 100th Anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic.
Warnings to be heeded include those of:
[1] Self-Indulgence
seen in:
(a) The Arrogance of Man,
(b) The Showcasing of Riches,
(c) The Neglect of Warnings.
[2] Self-Interest
contrasted by the actions of two ships - the Californian and the Carpathia;
and either seen in / or absent from, the actions of various passengers.
[3] Self-Identity
since the Titanic tragedy emphasises the fine line that exists between life and death, and reveals only two types of people - the "lost" and the "saved."
