Preaching Jesus One By One

The ministry entrusted to the Church and to individual believers is to tell about the person and work of Jesus Christ. This historical account records the faithfulness of the early church and individuals in telling the good news about Jesus.

Philip the evangelist had been used to bring the Gospel to many in Samaria then God sent him south to Gaza to witness to one man on a desert road. Philip explained the news about Jesus Christ through the writing of Isaiah and believing the message, the Ethiopian immediately made public his faith by being baptized.

Following this ministry of the Gospel, the Lord snatched Philip away to Azotus where he kept on preaching Jesus, eventually settling in Caesarea.
