The Man Who Did Not Die
Series hebrews
• Enoch was taken. By God because he pleased God.
• It takes more faith to be an atheist than it does to be a Christian.
• The only way to please God is by faith in God; however this is not apart from works. Works are an outflow of faith, not a means to achieve faith.
• Faith is never hidden. All who will live Godly will do so in plain sight. There is such thing as a backslidden Christian.
• The great-grandson of Enoch was Noah. There would appear to be some influence from Enoch to Noah.
• The death of Christ not only satisfied God, but it expiated sin: deleted, borne away, gone, it is no more.
• Confidence in God is what faith is all about. Do not throw away your confidence.
• Faith always seeks God. This is before and after salvation.
• God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him
