Seeing the Unseen

• Faith is acquired from God through faith and through the Scriptures.
• Jesus is the Author and the Finisher of our faith.
• Faith cannot be proven philosophically.
• There is only one way that anyone can know truth, that is through the Truth of God's Word.
• Real faith brings forth real fruit.
• Faith is the assurance of things hoped for. Faith is the underpinning, the anchor that holds assurance together.
• Faith is not simply mental assent.
• All of the heros of faith are Jewish (Rahab was a Jewish prosolyte) a Biblical ancestry without emphasizing genetic heritage - this is the New Covenant!
• Faith is about seeing the things that are unseen - only seen with the eyes of faith, and that sight results in resolute confidence leading to action in accordance with that faith.
• Faith is for things not seen but hoped for; things seen are not still hoped for
