Humble Power

How true is Lord Acton's statement “power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely”? Only if the one wielding the power is corrupt to begin with. Fortunately for us, the one who exercises absolute power over heaven and earth is completely righteous and holy. Furthermore, He humbled Himself and became a servant that we might learn to humbly serve Him and one another. The outline of the sermon is as follows:
