The title of this message is taken from the satirical but percipient poem by the English journalist, Steve Turner. You will smile - and want to weep - at Turner's incisive "take" on contemporary, Western "dysfunctionalism." Psalm 9:17 tells us that a correct mental view of God, man and history is the key to sanity and survival. As we move from laying a biblical foundation for this series and cross the bridge to look at first Charles Darwin, we note that his book that reduced man to the level of "just the next animal in the evolutionary chain" was exactly the wind that the wings of "The Communist Manifesto" (written 23 years earlier) needed to get its dogma of social engineering aloft.
