The Authority of the Son of Man

Jesus offered the forgiveness of sins to a lost and dying world. He came to the nation of Israel as their Messiah offering them eternal life through this forgiveness. In this sermon we will see that Jesus didn't just offer forgiveness to the people, but He also demonstrated His authority over the results of the sins that needed forgiving. He showed that He has authority over demonic powers, and disease; both of which came into the world as a result of sin. As wonderful as the miracles were that Jesus performed, He soon brought the focus back to His teaching, which is a model for the Church today.
