Signs Will Follow Those Who Believe

The signs Jesus promised certainly did accompany those who believed. The scriptures are full of testimony about this. Mark himself confirms that this was fulfilled (as we already saw) in verse 20. When Mark wrote, these signs were being performed in the churches. The leaders who opposed the apostles could not deny that the signs were real miracles, even though they wanted to (Acts 4:16).
