God of the Impossible

The implementation of the Abrahamic Covenant is further revealed in these verses. Major themes are the nature of the appearances of Yahweh to Abraham, God's interaction with Sarah, and the covenant with Abraham re-affirmed. We see the amazing appearance of Yahweh to Abraham as three common travelers, the re-assurance to Sarah of the coming birth of their child, as well as the faithfulness of Yahweh to implement the promised covenant.
