63 ( 46 | 17 )

Late hours and a busy schedule did not keep Jesus from His personal time with the Father. “Now in the morning, having risen a long while before daylight, He went out and departed to a solitary place; and there He prayed.” Mark 1:35 (NKJV) As God, Jesus wielded divine authority to cast out demons, heal the sick, and call sinners to repent, believe the gospel, and follow Him. Yet, even as a perfect Man, Jesus craved and needed time alone with God the Father. Rather than live by the agenda of others, Jesus sought and submitted to the will of the Father. alone with God -- to seek His provision and pathway for lives full of competing priorities.
