The Things Concerning Himself (Part 4)

The Old and New Testaments intersect in the Person and work, and especially the resurrection, of Jesus Christ the Lord. We draw from the classic Bible teaching of Dr. John Whitcomb this week on “Encounter God’s Truth” to bring this message home to us in the final installment of a series taken from Luke 24—intended to help us prepare our hearts and minds to remember the death and resurrection of Christ.
We will do that by looking at the testimonies of three apostles—John, Peter and Paul. Dr. Whitcomb explained how the power of Christ’s resurrection transformed these men in marvelous ways—just as it can for each listener.
After the message, host Wayne Shepherd shares Dr. Whitcomb’s explanation of why it was necessary that Jesus rose physically from the dead, as well as how that truth should impact us today.
