An Introduction to 1 John

A brief overview of the New Testament Epistle of 1 John. The apostle was anxious that his readers may know such things that would instruct them about eternal life; inform them about the importance of the fellowship of the saints, and to tell them about how they may experience "the fullness of joy". In seeking that his readers 'examine themselves', the Apostle John applies three tests that would seem to validate their faith, a test of faith, a moral test, and a test of love. There is much more which the apostle writes in this short, but instructive Epistle.
