Forsaken

Often the death of Christ is spoke of in simplistic terms, i.e. He died to save us from our sins. This is true, but there is more to say. When did He die the death that saved us? Did He die twice on the cross? How do we explain this? The emphasis of His death should be on His act of Atonement, which brought us to be One with God. We look at this in more detail and consider the spiritual and physical death of our Lord Jesus Christ and Him being Forsaken by God the Father.
